I have had a "thing" for this guy that I recently met at the beach over the weekend. We were chatting on Instant Messenger when he called me a whore out of nowhere. Upset, I asked him for his reasoning which was, "you have a belly button ring." This made me furious. I responded saying that a belly button ring does not make someone a slut, and he sarcastically responded "yeah, ok." I just signed off and stopped talking to him. I DID NOT get this belly button ring for attention or to make me look like a slut. I got it because I have an outtie belly button that I did not like, and I thought a ring would make it look cool. I love my ring and I am not taking it out, however I don't want people to have any misconceptions about me because of my jewerly.

do you consider belly button rings as sleezy? Does it change your opinion on a person if they do/do not have one? Do you have a belly button ring? If so, do you get comments like that because of it?
